Inland Years and SOTR started talking about ideas for an ambitious box release back in October of 2023 that would involve moving parts. The idea that the listener would need to open the locked package to discover the enjoyment of the music is what inspired this beautiful release. It marks the first album which was written and recorded to be released with Sands of Time Recordings.
